International scientific exchange is an important factor for the development of research topics and research personalities. In order to promote international exchange, DiMEN regularly announces scholarships for visiting scholars researching in the field of Digital Medical Ethics. For a period of 1 to 3 months, international and national researchers are given the opportunity to work at the University of Potsdam or the University of Tübingen.

The programme aims to give outstanding young researchers the freedom to explore new topics in digital health ethics. In doing so, fellows are free to choose the goals of their stay. Be it the completion of a chapter for a new book, the first steps towards a new topic area, the search for new cooperation partners for the next proposal or the proposal itself.

Fellows receive a stipend for the duration of their stay according to their qualification level, access to the local infrastructure and the Young Medical Ethics Network in the Academy for Ethics in Medicine.

The selection of suitable individuals is strictly based on scientific criteria and is supported by the members of the scientific advisory board in a multi-stage procedure. Click here for the Call for Application 2024.
